International News Bahrain John Devins, our regular correspondent for the Blog, took advantage of his time in the Middle East to take a short holiday in India. John is now back again at work in the Jennings O’Donovan office in Bahrain from where he has filed the following report on ongoing activities. Irish Water – New Utility Company Among the many dictats set out by the IMF/EU under the terms of Irelands financial bail out was one to set up a new company, Irish Water, to develop, operate and manage the entire water services system. Price Waterhouse Cooper (PWC) were engaged to examine the alternative options, prepare a report and make recommendations to the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government. The PWC report has been completed and it is understood that the recommendations have been signed off by Government at Cabinet level.
