Quality & AccreditationsQuality Assurance
A Quality Plan is prepared for each Customer under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager and is adhered to by all team members. Under this Plan, all drawings, calculations and reports are checked and signed off by a Team Leader. All documentation is subsequently reviewed and approved by a Project Manager prior to issue. Peer review which includes Value Engineering Analysis, is carried out at appropriate intervals by a Project Peer Review Group dedicated to see that the needs of each Customer are met.

Jennings O'Donovan’s Policy is to provide a high Quality Advisory and Consultative Engineering Service to all our Customers. This is achieved by putting in place procedures, design control and document control systems that are properly managed. The Quality Assurance Manager makes sure that this policy is understood by all involved in each project and individual Team Leaders make sure that the quality management system complies with Jennings O'Donovan ISO 9001:2008 Certification Procedures.
JOD is accredited to OHSAS 18001:2007 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems. The lead SGS Ireland Ltd., Auditor Terri Murphy stated of Jennings O'Donovan in the Accreditation Report that “it is clear that the staff and management at JOD have a good awareness of Safety and demonstrate a strong commitment to the Safety Management Systems”. 11 employees hold recognised Certifications in Health & Safety through UCD and 12 employees are registered members of IOSH, 2 of whom are represented on the Branch Committee of the IOSH North West Region. Through all of this, it is clearly evident that Jennings O'Donovan is highly competent in Health and Safety and that we at Jennings O'Donovan are fully aware of our duties and responsibilities under the 2006 H&S Regulations.
Jennings O'Donovan is accredited to ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems. Environmental Management Team meetings are held every 2 weeks and Jennings O'Donovan is committed to promoting environmentally responsible solutions to our customers and to carrying out all our work in accordance with all applicable environmental regulations and other requirements which relate to environmental aspects.
