David was awarded a Bachelor of Engineering, Civil Degree in 1982 from University College, Dublin and a Master of Science in Environmental Protection, First Class Hons, in 1996 from the Institute of Technology, Sligo.

David has been a consultant engineer for 23 years. Eight years of this time was spent abroad in Namibia, Transkei (South Africa), and in the United Kingdom working on water and environmental projects. On his return to Ireland in 1990 he joined JOD&P as senior engineer.

His engineering expertise lies in large wastewater treatment plants and water supply schemes and notably, he has been to the fore of wind energy development since 1990.

When not working David enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, walking, water skiing, sailing and water sports in general. He is a past County Commissioner for Scouting Ireland and also a past President of the Rotary Club, Sligo.

For the past twenty four years, Conor has built an outstanding profile of experience in water engineering with many large-scale projects and in waste water engineering. During this time, Conor worked in Boston for four years.
