Jennings O’Donovan have been involved in the Donegal Group B project since its inception.  The objective of the project (together with the Donegal Group A Scheme completed 10 years ago) is to protect water quality in Donegal Bay which supports fisheries, aquaculture, surfing, swimming, sailing and other wider activities as well as the protection of various estuarine and coastal environmentally designated site (SAC’s, SPA’s).

Our Director, Conor McCarthy, joined Jennings O’Donovan  in 1992 and one of his first roles was to carry out survey work at Glencolumbkille for a new sewer scheme.

Our Director, David Kiely was involved in the preparation of the Cohesion Fund application in 1997 to facilitate the planning phase of the whole Donegal Bay project (Group A and Group B) and the deputation to Brussels to secure funding.

Well done to our project team of Tomás McGloin and Seamus Lee and to our Resident Engineers, Aidan Fox, Niall O’Donnell, Eamonn McAndrew, Dermot Mulligan, Nicholas Hartin, Liam Boyle and others in JOD and our partners in this project JB Barry Consulting Engineers for their work in completing a very important project.
