Jennings O’Donovan welcomes the abolition on limits of the heights of buildings in all cities and large towns. This will allow derelict urban centre sites to be redeveloped economically and will help revitalize city cores by increasing the potential for more people to live in these centres. It will facilitate a more sustainable use of infrastructural services and will promote creativity and art in design. The increased scope for the use of precast components and pods will cut building time per unit and reduce cost per residential unit.
